Cancellation & refunds

Plans change. Here is exactly what happens to your advance when they do.

Confirming a booking

  • A booking is confirmed only after 50% of the total tariff is received as advance.
  • The remaining 50%, along with food and extras, is settled at check-out.
  • Dates are held for 24 hours pending the advance, after which they are released.

Cancellation slabs

  • Cancelled 7 days or more before check-in: full refund of the advance.
  • Cancelled 3 to 7 days before check-in: 50% of the advance is refunded.
  • Cancelled less than 3 days before check-in, or no-show: the advance is not refunded.
  • Early departure does not qualify for a refund of the remaining nights.

Refunds & date changes

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.
  • One free date change is allowed if requested 7 days or more before check-in, subject to availability.
  • Tariff differences on the new dates are payable by the guest.

Weather, roads & force majeure

  • During heavy monsoon or an administrative closure of the Kaas Plateau, we offer a credit for future dates rather than a cash refund.
  • We are not liable for events beyond our control, landslides, road closures, strikes or government orders.
