Open lawn for games
Cricket, badminton, tug-of-war and the kind of team games that end in arguments about the score.
For teams
A relaxed day or overnight out for a small team: open lawn, indoor games, valley walks, unlimited chai and a barbecue evening.
Not every team needs an agenda. Sometimes the point is simply to get out of the city, eat well and spend a day together in the open. Shalgar Villa suits that perfectly: a level lawn for cricket and antakshari, indoor games when it rains, and a kitchen that keeps producing chai as long as anybody wants it.

Cricket, badminton, tug-of-war and the kind of team games that end in arguments about the score.
Board games, carrom and a covered verandah keep a monsoon outing going when the valley disappears into cloud.
Charcoal grill with kebabs, paneer and corn, set beside the bonfire once the sun drops behind the ridge.

A day outing works well from Satara, Karad, Pune or Kolhapur: reach by 10, eat, play, walk to the viewpoint, and leave after evening chai. An overnight adds the part everyone remembers, the bonfire and the quiet valley morning.

Poha and upma for breakfast, a full bhakri-chapati thali at lunch, bhajji and chai in the evening, and a choice of vegetarian or village-style non-vegetarian dinner. Jain and no-onion-no-garlic plates are cooked on request.

Kaas Plateau is 4 km away, Kaas Lake 9 km, Ekiv waterfall 6 km and Vajrai, Asia's tallest waterfall, 12 km. A short morning drive fits easily into an outing without turning it into a road trip.
