Guests & ID
- A valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID) is required for every adult guest at check-in.
- Foreign nationals must present a passport and valid visa; Form C details are recorded as required by law.
- Only the guests listed on the booking may stay overnight. Extra guests need prior approval and an extra-bed charge.
- Unmarried couples with valid ID are welcome.
Quiet & conduct
- Quiet hours are 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, the valley carries sound and neighbours live close by.
- Loud music, DJ setups and fireworks are not permitted.
- Please treat the house, the garden and the staff with care.
Smoking, alcohol & fire
- Smoking is not allowed indoors; please use the open verandah or garden.
- Guests may bring their own alcohol for private consumption, in moderation.
- The outdoor fireplace and barbecue are used under staff supervision only.
Pets & children
- Pets are allowed on prior request only; a cleaning charge may apply.
- Children of all ages are welcome, kids' meals and extra mattresses are available.
- Children must be supervised near the water, the fireplace and the slope.
Damage & safety
- Any damage to property or furnishing will be charged at actual repair or replacement cost.
- The property is under CCTV surveillance in the outdoor and common areas only.
- Shalgar Villa is not responsible for loss of valuables left unattended.
